Adult Assessment Services
Adult clients seek services for a multitude of different reasons. They may be struggling with trouble in a relationship, family or financial issues, parenting difficulties, problems with work or school, addiction or substance abuse, mood problems, or post-traumatic stress, just to name a few. They may be seeking treatment or may want to have a diagnostic examination to determine what the next step should be or because they were referred for an assessment by their physician or other professional. For adults, we offer the following therapeutic services:

Child & Adolescent Assessment Services
Parents generally seek psychological evaluation and treatment for their child because of behavior problems, poor grades, friendship problems, failure to turn in homework, or poor school attendance. Family doctors or school officials may also recommend an evaluation for a child who seems depressed, angry, defiant, or aggressive. Some of the assessment services that we offer to meet these needs include:

A wide array of employment related services are provided by Dr. Goodness & Associates and when appropriate, referrals are made to other professionals who have earned our confidence.
- Evaluations required in order to receive American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) Services from a university, college or from their employer, including assessment of learning disabilities or other mental disabilities
- Evaluation of individuals applying for Disability or Social Security Benefits on the basis of emotional or mental disability
- Evaluation of individuals seeking Vocational Rehabilitation Services to assist in identification of strengths, weaknesses, or obstacles to gainful employment
- Pre-employment evaluations for public safety personnel, such as law enforcement, fire fighters, corrections officers, and private security personnel
- Psychological fitness-for-duty evaluations for public safety personnel who have experienced a critical incident, such as the use of lethal force, job-related injury, or the injury or death of a partner
